The Reunion




The Duke Energy Center hosts another night of boxing in Cincinnati on March 14, 2009. R&R Promotions in association with Golden Boy Promotions proudly presents The Reunion, featuring members of the 2008 Olympic Boxing team. Fighting in the Main Event will be Olympic Medalist Deontay Wilder facing Richard Green Jr.
The Co Main Event will be a rematch from their December 27th match that resulted in a no contest ruling with Cincinnati fighter Adrien Broner (6-0) fighting Toledo’s Eric Ricker (1-1). Broner is a young fighter to watch, a former National Amateur Champion now managed by Golden Boy Promotions. Other Olympians to be featured on the professional side of "The Reunion" card will be Cincinnati's 2004 Olympian Dante Craig (17-8-1), Toledo's Olympian 2004 Devin Vargas (16-0) and Cleveland's Miguel Gonzalez (1-0).
On the Amateur Card is Cincinnati’s own 2 time Olympian Raushee Warren who will face James Smith from Detroit Michigan. Raushee was the USA Olympic Team Captain in 2008.Former Featherweight Champion and Olympic Boxer from Cleveland, Raynell Williams will face David Harris from Atlanta. Top Ranked Olympic Boxer from Las Vegas Michael Hunter will be fighting in a super heavyweight matchup. Other amateurs scheduled to fight will be Maria Norton, Petey Davis and Chaen (Mick) Chess.

Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the aggressive action of Pro Cincinnati knockout artists such as Brandon Bennett (4-0), William Action Jackson (2-0), and Hasaan Murph (2-0-1).
